DGK response preparation for employers
We address each of the employee’s claims with facts and documents so that the Commission can consider your side as well.
A brief initial phone call is free, with no obligation to proceed.
The benefits of a professionally prepared response
The response addresses the employee’s application to the Labour Disputes Commission. It must be submitted in writing by the deadline specified in the DGK notice.
Your position set out in writing
The Commission receives not only the employee’s application but also your position on each claim, supported by facts and documents.
Documents linked to the claims
We link contracts, orders, working time records and correspondence to specific claims so it is clear what each document proves.
Prepared by a legal professional familiar with DGK proceedings
The response sets out legally substantiated objections to the employee’s claims, based on employment law and the evidence in the case.
Familiar with the case before the hearing
If you also commission representation at the hearing, we will already be familiar with the case documents and your position.
How we prepare the response
Document review
First, you commission a document review. If the review shows that submitting a response is worthwhile, we begin preparing it.
Preparation and approval of the response
We prepare the response, substantiate your position with legal provisions and available evidence, and agree the content with you before submission.
Submission to DGK
We submit the response and its attachments to DGK by the deadline.
Before the response is prepared, a document review is commissioned separately for €180.
The price covers preparing the response and its annexes and submitting them to DGK. Employer representation at the DGK hearing is ordered separately: one hearing costs €300 excluding VAT.
DGK document review
Stage 1: assessment of the case’s prospects.
Employer representation at a DGK hearing
Stage 3: a legal professional defends your position at the hearing.
Settlement negotiations in a DGK case
If the prospects of defending the case are limited, we negotiate a settlement instead of preparing a response.
DGK decisions in favour of employers
Examples of labour disputes in which we represented clients.
Daily subsistence allowances and compensation for unused leave
The Commission found that the employee’s claims were not supported by evidence.
Dismissal under Article 58 of the Labour Code
The Commission found that the employer had grounds to terminate the employment contract for a serious breach of employment duties.
Wage dispute
The employee alleged that wages had been calculated and paid incorrectly. The employer submitted a response and accounting records.
Every case has its own circumstances. Past results do not guarantee the same outcome in another case.
