Received a Labour Disputes Commission notice?
First, we will give you an honest assessment of whether the claims are worth contesting. If they are, we will prepare a response and defend your position at the hearing. If settlement is the better option, we will conduct settlement negotiations.

Three stages, each commissioned separately
DGK document review
We review the employee’s application and the company’s documents. We identify risks and missing evidence and recommend the next steps. The review is completed within 2–5 business days of receiving all documents.

Unsure where to start?
Select when your DGK hearing is scheduled and we will explain what to do first.
Not every case is worth contesting
Losing a case can cost more than settling. We therefore start with a document review and provide a clear conclusion and recommendation: settle or continue the dispute. If the prospects of a favourable outcome are limited, we tell you directly, and the decision is yours.
Amicable settlement
If you are likely to lose the case, negotiations may secure a lower payment and avoid additional payments, as well as the cost of preparing a response and representation at the hearing.
More about settlement negotiationsContinuing the dispute
The employee’s claims are unfounded and you have documents that refute them. We prepare a response with evidence and, if necessary, defend your position at the DGK hearing.
More about the responseDecisions in favour of employers
Claim for daily subsistence allowances
Under a settlement agreement, the employer paid €5,000 instead of the claimed €10,070, and DGK discontinued the case.
Daily subsistence allowances and compensation for unused leave
The Commission found that the employee’s claims were not supported by evidence.
Dismissal under Article 58 of the Labour Code
The Commission found that the employer had grounds to terminate the employment contract for a serious breach of employment duties.
Freezing company assets in a labour dispute
The court dismissed the employee’s application to freeze the company’s assets because no real risk to enforcement of the judgment had been proven.
Every case has its own circumstances. Past results do not guarantee the same outcome in another case.
